The Saint Paul Federation of Educators strike March 10-12 was the first strike in Education Minnesota history that included education support professionals and nonlicensed staff.
Minnesota’s school staffing shortage was already a problem before COVID-19, but now it’s at crisis levels.
The School and Child Care Worker Relief Fund recently distributed financial assistance to 90 employees from partner groups, including education support professionals who are Education Minnesota members.
