Under the direction of the Membership & Dues Accounting Supervisor, the Membership Processing Technician provides for the standardization in the collection, processing, and retention of pertinent membership data for Education Minnesota utilizing a comprehensive database/reporting system comprised of several subsystems designed to handle specific areas of information.

Education Minnesota envisions increased visible representation of teachers who mirror Minnesota’s diverse learners and communities who are highly qualified and reflective, classroom-ready educators that can prepare and deliver effective education programs and inclusionary educational opportunities for all students.

Under the direction of the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Racial Equity Organizer will further the organizing efforts and provide organizing support for Education Minnesota to further our racial equity, social justice, and public education goals.  This organizer would demonstrate to members the value of membership in a union that works towards racial and social justice and will support Education Minnesota’s efforts to recruit and retain educators of color, promote racial equity initiatives, and work to implement Education Minnesota’s Affirmative Involvement and Racial Equity plans.
