ST. PAUL, Minnesota. July 3, 2018 _ Education Minnesota announced on Tuesday that it has endorsed 31 candidates for the state Legislature, including three professional educators.

Educators Julie Sandstede, Mary Kunesh-Podein and Lyndon Carlson are among the 10 incumbent state representatives on the list.

All the endorsed candidates are running for the Minnesota House except Joe Perske. The union endorsed him in the special election in Senate District 13 in central Minnesota.

Education Minnesota will announce additional endorsements over the next few months.
