What is your favorite thing about being an educator?
My favorite thing about being an educator is watching students develop, learn from one another and work together as a community.
Outside of the classroom, what’s something you like to do?
I enjoy gardening, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
How have you worked in union to overcome a professional challenge?
When I began teaching I was on our contract negotiations team. I have been an HEA board member, and most recently part of the fight for pension reform.
