
Minnesota Educator Academy Professional Development Curriculum Update ApplicationÂ
Project Scope
The Minnesota Educator Academy is excited to offer a unique opportunity to help update two courses within our Racial and Social Justice category. Participants will be expected to bring their own experiences and knowledge into a shared and collaborative space.
Current courses on the 2025-26 Curriculum Update Schedule:
- Recognizing and Combating Antisemitism in Schools
- LGBTQ+ Advocacy and Support Training
Registration Deadline: Applications must be submitted by Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.Â
Participation Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a current Education Minnesota Member.
- Bring a willingness to respectfully engage in honest and potentially challenging topics.
- Be available to meet in person for at least one Saturday working session at our Education Minnesota St. Paul headquarters in winter 2026. Date(s) will be selected based upon collective team availability.
- Committee members might be expected to complete work individually and/or meet virtually based on team needs, as well.Â
Benefits
- Up to 10 hours of paid work time at $40 per hour.
- Mileage and meals for in-person session(s) and hotel accommodations, if needed, for those who live more than 35 miles from St. Paul.
- The opportunity to provide voice and perspectives that will benefit our Education Minnesota Professional Development.
