What issue are you most looking forward to working on as a Governing Board member?
Making sure the priorities of rank and file members are being represented in the actions of the Governing Board.
What is your favorite thing about being an educator?
Working in a community of dedicated educators.
Outside of the classroom, what’s something you like to do?
I enjoy international travel, mountain biking, and working on construction projects.
How have you worked in union to overcome a professional challenge?
I am proud of being part of the groups (Legislative Action Committee, Pension Advocacy Group, Pension Action Leaders, and Minnesota Educators for Pension Reform) who have worked to educate and activate members and legislators to take action on pension reform.
