For example: An individual signed their application on April 18. Based on the signature date, they would owe 41.67% of the full local dues obligation, based on the Education Minnesota proration chart.

Dues proration

Dues proration is an adjustment of the member’s total dues obligation based on the signature date of their application. Education Minnesota, the American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association prorate their dues according to the monthly percentage chart below.
