Public education is a cornerstone of our democracy.

Educators are at the core of the effort to defend against attacks on our schools, students, and communities.

Education Minnesota is proud to be part of a statewide coalition effort to defend our students, communities, and democracy from efforts to dismantle public education, steal our elections, and sow fear and division.

We invite you, as a local leader, to attend an Anti-Authoritarianism Summit and Training in Minneapolis on Saturday, June 27th from 1-6pm. Educators will convene with other labor leaders and activists from across Minnesota about the current threats facing our democracy, and what we can do to not only defend against attacks, but what we can build together when we win.

Featured speakers:
  • Tarso Luís Ramos: Leading researcher on the U.S. right wing and authoritarianism
  • Wol-san Liem: South Korean labor organizer and KPTU International Affairs Director

There will also be two breakout sessions, including one specifically for educators.

Space is limited, and registration is first-come, first-served, so please RSVP by June 22nd by filling out the form below. Please note that you must be logged into the Education Minnesota member portal in order to see the form to register.
