Please note that the first shift of the day and the first five days of the fair receive the most requests. If you can request a date later in the day and later in the fair your chances of being selected will be higher. If you are selected for a volunteer shift, Education Minnesota will: Provide one ticket to the Minnesota State Fair for the day of your shift. Provide a new T-shirt, if requested. All volunteers must wear an EdMN state fair T-shirt while in the booth, but shirts from previous years are acceptable. Reimburse members who complete an expense report for mileage at $0.20 cents per mile plus parking up to $25. Rideshare and bus expenses can be submitted in lieu of parking with reimbursment up to $25. Provide water at the booth for volunteers.
