ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 4, 2015 – Education Minnesota President Denise Specht responded Wednesday to the presentation of the Senate majority’s education agenda.

“It’s good to see lawmakers recognize the problems educators see every day, including crumbling buildings, outdated technology and students with unmet needs for counseling and health care, and even students suffering from a tragic lack of food,” Specht said. “The Senate majority has shown the ambition necessary to tackle the serious issues facing Minnesota children and their families. Minnesota educators look forward to supporting these priorities throughout the legislative session.”
